National Fertilisers Limited (NFL) has rolled out an extensive wall painting and beautification programme in Delhi’s Shahdara North Zone under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework.
The initiative commenced at the Tikona Park in Rohtas Nagar, marking the start of a phase-wise campaign aimed at enhancing around 60 public locations in the region.
The makeover at Tikona Park has drawn strong appreciation from residents, who praised the infusion of artistic murals and informative messages.
The refreshed look has not only made the park more visually appealing but has also added an educational dimension, promoting themes such as cleanliness, environmental preservation and civic responsibility.
NFL officials noted that the campaign will continue across multiple neighbourhoods. Each selected site will receive a combination of wall art, aesthetic improvement and awareness-driven messaging.
Senior Officials Oversee and Support the Drive
The initiative has received direct supervision from Amit Kumar Sharma, IRS, Chief Vigilance Officer of National Fertilisers Limited and former Additional Commissioner of MCD Shahdara North Zone. He has closely monitored the project’s execution to ensure its smooth and impactful rollout.
Speaking at the launch, Sharma said, “Clean, well-maintained and inspirational public spaces are essential to any modern city. NFL’s efforts represent a significant and exemplary step towards strengthening civic awareness and public hygiene.”
Local community members and representatives have described the campaign as a model for urban cleanliness and beautification.
Many believe such initiatives not only uplift the physical environment but also contribute to positive behavioural changes among citizens.
NFL’s programme reflects its sustained commitment to social responsibility. It contributes meaningfully to the creation of cleaner, safer and more engaging urban spaces.
The organisation emphasised that the beautification drive aims to inspire communities. It also seeks to reinforce the importance of maintaining public areas with care and pride.
