Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district to pay obeisance at Prasanthi Nilayam, the ashram founded by Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
He offered prayers at the golden statue and at the Mahasamadhi, participating in rituals conducted by priests chanting Vedic hymns inside the Sai Kulwant Hall.
