Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that he looks forward to participating in the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on Wednesday.
“I look forward to being among my sisters and brothers of Andhra Pradesh tomorrow to participate in the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X.
He added, “His life and efforts towards community service and spiritual awakening remain a guiding light for generations. I have interacted with him and learned from him over the years.”

The PM also shared photographs of his past interactions with Sathya Sai Baba.
Accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the Prime Minister will visit the holy shrine and Mahasamadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba around 10 AM.
He will offer obeisance and pay respects.
PM Modi will release a commemorative coin and a set of stamps honouring Sathya Sai Baba’s life, teachings, and enduring legacy.
He will also address the public gathering during the programme.
After the Puttaparthi visit, the Prime Minister will travel to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.
There, he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 at 1:30 PM.
He will release the 21st instalment of PM-KISAN, worth over Rs 18,000 crore, to support nine crore farmers across the country.
The Prime Minister will also address the gathering on this occasion.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, arriving in Puttaparthi on Tuesday night, will welcome PM Modi at Puttaparthi airport at 9:25 AM on Wednesday.
The state government schedule mentions that both leaders will visit Prasanti Nilayam and offer prayers at the Mahasamadhi.
Later, they will reach Hill View Stadium to join the birth centenary celebrations.
After bidding farewell to PM Modi at the airport, Chief Minister Naidu will travel to Pendlimarri in Kadapa district to participate in the second phase of the Annadata Sukheebhava fund distribution. Farmers will receive Rs 7,000 each.
A total of 46,85,838 farmers in the state will benefit, with Rs 3,135 crore distributed.
Combined with the first instalment, the total assistance will reach Rs 6,309.44 crore.
Later, the Chief Minister will meet TDP cadres and return to Amaravati by Wednesday night.
