Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the state is set to receive several development initiatives and schemes as Prime Minister Narendra Modi marks his 75th birthday with a special visit to Dhar on Wednesday.
Calling the occasion a matter of pride and learning, CM Yadav said, “We are fortunate that the Prime Minister will be with us on his birthday. It teaches us the value of a meaningful life and how to lead it with purpose.”
One of the most significant announcements is the foundation stone-laying of the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, one of India’s seven mega textile parks.
The project will boost local employment, investment, and infrastructure, taking a major step towards a ‘Viksit Madhya Pradesh’.
In a message posted on social platform X, PM Modi said his vision for Viksit Bharat would gain fresh momentum from Madhya Pradesh.
Massive Health Outreach Under ‘Sewa Pakhwada’
The government will conduct over one lakh health camps across the country between 17 September and 2 October, focusing on women and children. This will be the largest health outreach of its kind, coinciding with the Sewa Pakhwada campaign.
Authorities will offer key services, including enrolment under schemes like PM-JAY, Ayushman Vaya Vandana, and ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account).
Additionally, Yoga sessions, Ayurveda consultations, and Ayush services will promote preventive health practices, with a focus on obesity prevention and nutrition.
During the visit, PM Modi will digitally transfer funds to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, supporting maternal health and welfare.
He will also launch the ‘Adi Seva Parv’ under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, aimed at honouring tribal heritage and aligning it with national development. The initiative will focus on implementing the Tribal Village Action Plan and preparing Village Vision 2030 roadmaps.
As a symbolic gesture under the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, PM Modi will gift a sapling to a woman from a self-help group, reinforcing themes of environmental protection and women’s empowerment.
