BJP MP from North East Delhi, Manoj Tiwari, on Wednesday announced a protest at Khajuri Chowk at 10:30 AM against what he described as abusive and disrespectful language directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother.
The demonstration has been organised under the banner of the Indi Alliance, with residents expected to participate in large numbers.
Taking to X, Tiwari posted, “People of North East Delhi Lok Sabha are on the streets against the abuse and foul language used against the mother of the Prime Minister.”
He tagged the official handle of the BJP Delhi while sharing a link to the protest call.

Highlights of Manoj Tiwari’s Recent Engagements
Alongside mobilising support for the protest, Tiwari listed a string of activities from the past two days.
On September 1, he returned from Vrindavan and took part in a ‘Bhasm Aarti’ at Shastri Park. Later that evening, he attended several meetings at his residence.
On Wednesday morning, he travelled to Haridwar to inaugurate the MRI department of Sant Bhumanand Hospital, established by his spiritual guru.
At 5 PM, he campaigned for the National Democratic Teachers’ Front (NDTF) during the Delhi University Teachers’ Association (DUTA) elections. In the evening, he attended a Jan Milan public outreach programme and later watched the premiere of the film Bengal Files.
The protest at Khajuri Chowk underscores heightened tensions between the BJP and opposition groups over personal attacks against leaders’ families.
Tiwari’s active participation reflects the party’s broader strategy of countering opposition narratives in public spaces, while maintaining a visible presence across multiple civic and cultural events.
