CM Yogi Adityanath Reviews Development Plans With Prayagraj & Vindhyanchal Representatives

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a divisional-level dialogue at the Circuit House in Prayagraj with MPs, MLAs, and MLCs from the Prayagraj and Vindhyanchal divisions.

The meeting, part of the state’s ongoing development dialogue series, focused on reviewing proposals submitted by public representatives and understanding local developmental priorities.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister emphasised the importance of balanced regional growth, directing the Public Works Department (PWD) to prioritise infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and road safety measures. He instructed representatives to rank their proposals and submit them for expedited action.

Focus on Infrastructure and Safety

CM Adityanath directed the PWD to survey and inspect priority proposals promptly, emphasising single-connectivity roads and the 100 per cent approval of black spot removal.

He further instructed that incomplete projects be finished swiftly with uncompromising quality.

Highlighting accountability, he urged public representatives to monitor works in their constituencies and ensure projects reflect public needs.

The CM also mandated that the Urban Development Department consult local representatives before drafting proposals and include their names on project plaques.

Developmental Priorities

The meeting reviewed proposals, including connectivity to block headquarters, interconnecting roads, access to religious sites, logistics hubs, bypasses, ROBs underpasses, flyovers, and irrigation infrastructure.

CM Adityanath noted that these projects would improve connectivity in challenging terrains and stimulate local economic growth.

He instructed departments to finalise priority projects quickly, aiming for ground-breaking and inauguration ceremonies post 15 September.

Tourism-related projects were also a key agenda item. The Chief Minister praised ongoing initiatives in Prayagraj and urged the continuation of high-quality tourism development under the Chief Minister’s Tourism Promotion Scheme.

He emphasised providing basic facilities at religious and cultural centres to attract more visitors and boost local businesses.

CM Adityanath reiterated that the implementation of all schemes must be time-bound, transparent, and technology-driven.

“There should be no compromise on quality,” he said, adding that public representatives’ experience and understanding of local needs are crucial in shaping projects.

Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, State Minister Sanjeev Gond, Mayor Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesarwani, District Panchayat Chairman Dr VK Singh, and other public representatives from both divisions attended the meeting alongside senior officials.
