Dr Rajeshwar Singh, in a heartfelt display of public service, toured several areas in his Sarojininagar constituency on 16 June 2025, meeting with more than 20 families who had recently lost loved ones.

His initiative combined emotional support with actionable assistance in areas such as education, health, employment, and pensions.

At Ambedkarpuram, he met Sadguru Sharan Rawat and his wife Shashi Bala, a former district panchayat member.

At the residence of Manoj Kumar Sahu, he congratulated his daughter Sarvishta Sahu on her judicial selection.

In Banthra, he paid condolences to the family of Lal Bahadur Singh, whose two sons died within four days. Calling their loss ‘heart-wrenching’, Dr Singh promised all possible assistance.

Educational & economic aid promised

In various areas, including Ambarpur, New Rahimabad, Kalli Paschim, Vrindavan Yojana, and Sector-G, Dr Singh assured families of help ranging from widow pensions and children’s school fees to contract-based jobs for eligible daughters.

A NEET aspirant who lost a parent was also promised coaching support.

He pledged to coordinate with authorities to provide appropriate compensation and rehabilitation to Rahimabad villagers affected by land acquisition for airport and Aerocity expansion.

In Gandhinagar’s Sapera Basti, he assured medical assistance for the children of Govind Nath, the uncle of the BJP sector convenor, Sachin Nath.

Community engagement through sports

Dr Singh also participated in the concluding ceremony of the Aawadh Samachar Post Cricket Tournament at Shivri.

He awarded ₹11,000 to the winning team, Malpur Riders and ₹5,000 to the runner-up, AZ Sporting, Sahadatganj.

Emphasising that sports build confidence and health, he encouraged youth to remain active and engaged.

Highlighting the success of the Sarojininagar Sports League, he noted that over 8,000 youths have benefited through this platform.

Through this initiative, Dr Singh exemplified sensitive and proactive leadership, ensuring that grief-stricken families were not left isolated.

His multi-faceted outreach reflected a deep commitment to welfare, education, and youth empowerment.

Whether offering pensions, job aid, or encouragement through sports, Dr Rajeshwar Singh’s visit stood as a testament to the powerful role of grassroots leadership in healing, empowering, and uplifting communities.
