JIH President Husaini Slams Israeli Strikes On Iran

Syed Sadatullah Husaini, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), has strongly condemned Israel’s military strikes on Iran, describing the act as an ‘unprovoked assault’ and a ‘reckless act of war’.

Husaini called Israel’s strikes on Iranian nuclear and civilian sites a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter.

Strikes violate sovereignty and risk regional war

“Israel’s brazen and unprovoked assault on the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a flagrant violation of international law,” Husaini said.

He added that the attacks, which reportedly targeted the Natanz nuclear facility and resulted in the deaths of senior Iranian military personnel, nuclear scientists, and civilians, could trigger a regional war and potentially escalate into a global crisis.

He warned, “This dangerous military aggression could destabilize the region, and the world cannot afford another war in West Asia. The silence and passive complicity of powerful nations is deeply disturbing.”

Rejects Israeli claims about Iran’s Nuclear Program

Husaini stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made unilateral and unsubstantiated allegations about Iran’s nuclear intentions.

He emphasized that Iran has consistently maintained its nuclear programme is for peaceful purposes and that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) should be the impartial body to assess such matters.

“States complicit in genocide and war crimes cannot act as judge, jury, and executioner,” he added.

Condemns civilian deaths and human rights violations in strikes

Husaini condemned the killings as state terrorism and grave violations of human rights and international norms.

He urged the UN and global community to act swiftly to de-escalate the crisis and sanction Israel for its aggression.

“The international community must act now,” Husaini asserted.

“Failure to hold Israel accountable will set a dangerous precedent, enabling lawlessness and impunity to thrive in international relations.”
