International Women’s Day Awareness Ride Promotes Empowerment & Safety

KALYAAN TRUST is organizing the International Women’s Day Awareness Ride under the theme ‘Empowered Women, Empowered Communities’.

The initiative aims to highlight women’s empowerment in health, legal rights, entrepreneurship, and STEM education while also promoting road safety.

The ride will cover four zones in Delhi – North, South, East, and West – where local women motorbike riders will participate in awareness campaigns before converging in Central Delhi for the main event.

Key Objectives

• Raising Awareness: Covering issues such as women’s health, financial independence, and legal rights.
• Promoting Road Safety: Emphasizing emergency preparedness and defensive riding.
• Encouraging Community Engagement: Involving professionals, local authorities, and social activists.
• Honoring Achievements: Recognizing women making significant contributions in various fields.

• South Delhi: Women’s Health & Road Safety – Focus on reproductive health, mental well-being, self-defense, and helmet safety.
• North Delhi: Women in STEM & Road Safety – Sessions on STEM scholarships, innovation, and vehicle maintenance.
• East Delhi: Legal Rights & Road Safety – Discussions on workplace rights, inheritance laws, and personal safety on the road.
• West Delhi: Entrepreneurship & Financial Independence – Workshops on financial literacy, investment strategies, and business mentoring.

Main Event In Central Delhi

Held at YWCA Connaught Place, the event will feature expert talks, an audiovisual presentation, and an appreciation ceremony.
