In a heartfelt reflection on his experiences at the Maha Kumbh, prominent industrialist Gautam Adani shared the profound impact the event had on him. Speaking about his service during the religious gathering, he described his work as a reflection of the spirit of ‘Tera Tujhko Arpan,’ dedicating everything received from Mother Earth back to her.
A Spirit Of Service Dedication
Gautam Adani conveyed his thoughts in an article published in the country’s largest Hindi daily on the occasion of the Mahashivratri festival. He expressed his belief that serving others is the best way to connect with God.
He wrote, “Maha Kumbh offers a chance to realize the essence of ‘Tera Tujhko Arpan’—where we dedicate everything to Mother Earth. It is an honor to serve millions of devotees, and I consider myself blessed by this opportunity. It is not the one who serves, but the one who receives the service who allows us to reach God. With folded hands, I bow to the brothers, sisters, and saints who gave us the virtue of serving them.”
During the Maha Kumbh, Adani Group joined hands with ISKCON to serve 1 lakh devotees daily by distributing Mahaprasad, contributing to the sacred atmosphere of the event.
Adani Group’s Special Initiative For Employees
In addition to their service to devotees, the Adani Group launched a special initiative for their employees during this year’s Maha Kumbh. Adani explained, “This time, we introduced a unique experiment within the Adani family. We gave our members the option to apply online to offer their services, and within hours, thousands responded. As a result, over 5,000 Adani family members had the privilege of serving the devotees and Kalpvasis.”

A Moment To Remember: Meeting An Elderly Devotee
While reflecting on his personal experience at the Kumbh, Gautam Adani recalled a deeply emotional encounter. On January 21, 2025, he traveled to Prayagraj with his family, where they took part in the religious rites and distributed Mahaprasad at ISKCON and Aarti Sangrah at the Gita Press pandal.
Adani shared a poignant memory of meeting an elderly woman during the distribution of Aarti Sangrah near the Lat Hanuman Temple in Prayagraj. He described how the 80-year-old woman broke through the crowd and placed her hand on his head, blessing him. “The feeling at that moment was beyond words—an emotional and spiritual touch that will stay with me for the rest of my life,” he reflected.
For Adani, service is not just an act, but a prayer that connects him to humility and dedication, resonating deeply within his soul.
Adani Group’s Extensive Contributions At Maha Kumbh
In addition to their daily food distribution efforts, Adani Group provided a range of services during the Maha Kumbh. They pledged to distribute 1 crore Aarti collections in collaboration with Gita Press Gorakhpur and offered free golf cart services to elderly women and children to ease their mobility during the event.
