Achieving a milestone in the case of bomb threat emails sent to schools located in the Sector-126 area, Noida police managed to solve the case in just 12 hours.
In this case, a joint investigation by the police’s cyber team and the local police identified a minor, who was taken into custody.
During a press conference organized by the Noida Police Commissionerate, DCP Noida Ram Badan Singh informed that fake bomb threat emails were sent to four schools under the Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate.
The school management filed a complaint at the Sector-126 police station, based on which a case was registered. Due to the promptness of the police and cyber team, the minor who sent the fake emails was traced within just 12 hours.

The police took immediate action and implemented strict security measures. The Bomb Disposal Squad and Fire Brigade teams were deployed at the schools.
Students were moved to safe locations, and a thorough search of the entire school premises was conducted.
During the search, no suspicious objects were found in any of the schools. After the situation was deemed normal, classes were resumed in several schools.
The Cyber Team is conducting a detailed investigation. The police reported that the team is closely examining the threatening emails and investigating what resources the minor used to send them.

The Noida Police urged the public and parents to ignore rumors and maintain calm. The police are fully alert, and all necessary security measures are being taken.
