Neeraj Chopra, the two-time Olympic medallist, has announced his marriage to Himani Mor, a sports management student from Haryana.
Chopra, who won a silver medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics, shared the joyous news on social media on Sunday, revealing details about his wedding and new chapter in life.

Chopra posted a series of pictures from the wedding rituals, expressing his gratitude and happiness. The Olympic champion wrote, “Starting a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after.”

However, Chopra did not disclose the date or venue of the ceremony, leaving fans to celebrate the moment with the images he shared.
For unversed, Himani Mor, Chopra’s wife, hails from Larsauli in Haryana and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in sports management and administration from the McCormack Isenberg School of Management.
Mor, who has a background in tennis, earned her education from Southeastern Louisiana University and has gained experience working in sports.
Mor has held several positions in tennis coaching, including as a part-time volunteer assistant coach at Franklin Pierce University. Additionally, she comes from a sports-oriented family; her brother Himanshu also played tennis. She attended Little Angels School in Sonipat, the same alma mater as tennis star Sumit Nagal.

Neeraj Chopra, who made history by becoming the first Indian track and field athlete to win an Olympic gold in Tokyo, continued to shine on the international stage. Last year, he secured a silver medal at the Paris Olympics, marking his second consecutive Olympic medal. He also ended the 2024 season on a high note with a second-place finish in the prestigious Diamond League Final in Brussels.
In addition to his achievements, Chopra has taken a significant step in his training by partnering with javelin legend Jan Zelezny, who became his new coach in November.
Zelezny, a three-time Olympic and World Champion, is the current world record holder in javelin and has been a long-time idol for Chopra.
