Canada’s Public Safety Minister, Dominic LeBlanc, was sworn in as the new Finance Minister on Monday during a ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. LeBlanc’s appointment comes amid significant political turmoil. His swearing-in ceremony coincided with growing concerns over the United States’ foreign policy under President-elect Donald Trump.
