Uttarakhand has entered its 25th year since its formation on November 9, 2000. To mark the silver jubilee, Bharat Express News Network is organizing a mega conclave in Dehradun on December 13. The event is named ‘Naye Bharat Ki Baat, Uttarakhand Ke Saath’.
Program Details and Key Participants
The program will begin at 11 am with the lighting of the lamp by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The Chairman, MD, and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network, Upendrra Rai, will also be present. After the inauguration, Rai and Dhami will discuss Uttarakhand’s 25-year development journey and its future.
Key Speakers and Guests
Apart from Chief Minister Dhami, Cabinet Ministers Subodh Uniyal, Saurabh Bahuguna, Premchand Aggarwal, Ganesh Joshi, and BJP MLA Vinod Chamoli will participate. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat and State Congress President Karan Mahara will also attend. Spiritual leaders Acharya Balkrishna, Swami Chidananda, and Hathayogi will share their thoughts. Senior officials, DG (Information) Banshidhar Tiwari and IG (Law and Order) Nilesh Bharane, will join the discussions.
Resolution of ‘Developed Uttarakhand’
On November 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Uttarakhand on entering its silver jubilee year. He urged the people to work towards the state’s bright future over the next 25 years. PM Modi also spoke of fulfilling the vision of ‘Developed Uttarakhand’ as part of India’s broader goal for a ‘Developed India’ in the next 25 years.
