The legal troubles for Raj Kundra in the pornography case continue. While the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has completed its action in the case, the investigation is ongoing. A software engineer from Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, is now under the ED’s radar, and an arrest may follow soon.
On November 29, the ED raided the homes of Kundra’s associates, including two suspects in Rajput Colony, Padrauna, and Kathkuiyan, Kuber Sthan, in Kushinagar. The agency interrogated software engineer Atul Srivastava late into the night. During the raids, the ED froze the bank accounts of some accused, preventing any transactions.

The ED has issued a notice to Rohit Chaurasia of Kathkuiyan, summoning him for questioning at its Mumbai office on December 4. Arvind Srivastava, linked to Kundra’s operations, is also under investigation. Arvind, originally from Kanpur, was living in Singapore and managed Kundra’s production house. He faces accusations of using his wife and father’s bank accounts to launder black money from pornographic films.
The investigation into Raj Kundra, who was arrested in 2021 for his alleged involvement in the pornography case, continues. After two months in jail, he was granted bail under certain conditions. Earlier this year, the ED confiscated his properties, including a flat in Juhu, a bungalow in Pune, and shares worth Rs 98 crore. Both Raj Kundra and his wife, Shilpa Shetty, have denied any wrongdoing, claiming full cooperation with the ED’s investigation.
