Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned of a strong response if Israel continues its aggressive actions, although emphasizing that Iran does not seek conflict.

His remarks came during an official visit to Qatar, where he met with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss regional security and strengthen bilateral ties.

The Iranian leader’s visit to Doha marks an effort to boost diplomatic engagement in the Gulf and foster cooperative agreements between Iran and Qatar.

Before embarking on the visit, Pezeshkian outlined two primary objectives.

“We will pursue two goals in this trip. The first is to engage in dialogue with the Qatari government on cooperation agreements,” he noted, adding that regional security concerns would also take center stage.

He highlighted Israel’s recent actions, accusing it of violating international law and targeting civilians.

Pezeshkian warned, “If the Zionist regime does not stop its crimes, it will face harsher reactions.”

His diplomatic trip includes participation in the Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit, set to take place in Doha on Thursday, where further discussions on regional cooperation are expected to unfold.
