Prayagraj: The rift between the office bearers of the High Court Bar Association has increased. People from the opposing faction have been accused of attacking senior vice president Rajesh Khare. The bar officials who went to lodge a complaint under the leadership of Secretary Vikrant Pandey were turned away empty-handed by the Chief Justice. He said that the court should not be dragged into the bar dispute.

A video is going viral on social media. It is said to be from Friday afternoon. In this, the senior vice president of the bar, Rajesh Khare, is seen running. After this, the officials of the Bar Association reached the Chief Justice’s court under the leadership of Secretary Vikrant Pandey. Appearing in the court, Vikrant Pandey and Rajesh Khare told the Chief Justice that the associates of President Anil Tiwari tried to kill them by running at Gate No. 5. The incident has been captured in CCTV cameras. It is also said that the attackers do not practice law.

After hearing the complaint, the Chief Justice asked, “What should I do? What do you want from us? This is a dispute of the Bar Association. The court should not be dragged into this. The court cannot help in its judicial capacity right now. You can contact the police officials for whatever complaint you have.”

For the last two days, the Bar Association’s president and secretary and other office bearers have been accusing each other. Meanwhile, 22 members of the bar passed a resolution to suspend President Anil Tiwari for a month, leveling serious allegations. At the same time, the president issued a video message and clarified. He said that some bar officials had gone to Delhi without an official invitation. The payment of the travel and High Court canteen breakfast bills was stopped, due to which everyone is angry.

After the day-long commotion and uproar in the High Court, no legal action has been reported from any side till late night. Whereas, president Anil Tiwari and secretary Vikrant Pandey blamed each other and condemned the alleged attack.
