Allahabad High Court has stayed the release of Ramchandra Yadav, accused of raping a minor girl in Unnao. This stay was imposed after the SFL report revealed that he was the biological father of the fetus. The High Court had granted bail on 20 June 24, but he was not released due to non-fulfillment of bail conditions. He has been in jail since 5 September last year.
The court has sought an affidavit from the petitioner Yadav as to why the bail granted to him should not be cancelled after the SFL report came. The petition will be heard on 20 August.

The court had sought a personal affidavit from DGP Lucknow Prashant Kumar while granting bail on 20 June. Which was filed. The Additional Government Advocate told the court that the petitioner had been proven to be the father of the foetus in the SFL report. On this, the court directed CJM Unnao and SSP Unnao to stop the release of the petitioner. The minor was raped due to which she became pregnant. The fetus test proved that the petitioner was the father of the fetus. An FIR of rape has been lodged in Ganga Ghat police station. The petitioner was calling himself innocent. He said that he has been framed for political reasons. Now after the report has come, the veil of doubt has been lifted.
