The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has strongly advised Indian citizens to avoid travel to Bangladesh until further notice due to escalating violence in the country.
On Sunday night, the Indian government issued a warning to its nationals residing in Bangladesh, urging them to exercise extreme caution and limit their movements in response to the renewed violence.
Reports from Dhaka indicate that at least 90 individuals, including 14 police officers, lost their lives on Sunday during intense clashes between security forces and anti-government protesters across various regions of Bangladesh.

The demonstrators are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Violence In Bangladesh Escalates, MEA Advises Caution As 6,700 Indian Students Return
The MEA advised all Indian nationals currently in Bangladesh to exercise extreme caution, restrict their movements, and stay in contact with the High Commission of India in Dhaka.
The unrest in Bangladesh began last month with student protests against a controversial job quota scheme, which have since escalated into widespread anti-government demonstrations.
The MEA also noted that, as of 25 July, approximately 6,700 Indian students have returned from Bangladesh due to the deteriorating situation.
