The district administration has demolished the bakery owned by SP leader Moin Khan, who faces accusations in the gang-rape case involving a 12-year-old girl in Ayodhya.
On Saturday, officials from the Food Safety Department conducted a raid on Khan’s bakery. They seized various items from the premises for investigation and subsequently sealed the bakery.
The allegations state that the crime occurred within the same establishment.
In the state Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the issue, questioning the lack of action against Khan. He assured that no culprit would escape justice, thereby intensifying the scrutiny on the case.
“No criminal will be spared,” Adityanath stated emphatically.
Earlier, on Friday, Adityanath met with the victim’s family and promised stringent action against those involved.
Following this assurance, the administration moved forward with actions against Moin Khan.
Khan and his servant are alleged to have raped the 12-year-old girl at his bakery, located in the Purakalandar police station area of Ayodhya.
Khan is reportedly a close associate of SP MP Awadhesh Prasad from Faizabad.
In response to the gravity of the situation, Purakalandar police station in-charge Ratan Sharma and Bhadarsa outpost in-charge Akhilesh Gupta have been suspended.
Additionally, SDM Sohawal and revenue personnel have begun measuring the land and property of Khan.
