On Saturday, Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, announced a series of ‘Kejriwal ki guarantees’ in Haryana as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched its poll campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, likely to take place in October.
The guarantees proposed include 24-hour free electricity supply, free medical treatment for all, high-quality free education for children, employment opportunities for the unemployed youth, and a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000 for women.
The announcement was made in Panchkula with senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also in attendance. Sunita Kejriwal, addressing the gathering, highlighted the significant changes brought about by Arvind Kejriwal’s government in Delhi and Punjab, emphasizing the success of initiatives such as Mohalla clinics and improvements in government schools.

Reflecting on Arvind Kejriwal’s journey, Sunita Kejriwal noted, “He was brought up in Haryana’s Hisar. No one could have imagined that this boy would rule the country’s capital. It is no small feat and is nothing short of a miracle… God surely wants him to achieve something great. Arvind ji started from zero, formed his own party, and became the Chief Minister of Delhi. He accomplished what many prominent leaders could not. People across the country recognize Arvind Kejriwal for his work.”
Currently, Arvind Kejriwal, who is also the AAP national convenor, is in judicial custody in connection with alleged irregularities in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy.
Sunita Kejriwal has been an active campaigner for the party in Delhi, Haryana, and Gujarat during the latest Lok Sabha elections. The AAP has declared its intention to contest all 90 Assembly seats in Haryana.
