Taiwan on Monday said it detected 10 Chinese military aircraft and 6 naval vessels operating around the nation. It was between 6 am on Sunday to 6 am on Monday.
According to the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence, 8 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
In response, the Armed Forces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.
Taking to X, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence said, “10 PLA aircraft and 6 PLAN vessels were detected operating around Taiwan up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 8 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait. We have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.”

Earlier on Sunday, Taiwan tracked 21 Chinese military aircraft and 7 naval vessels operating around the nation. It was between 6 am on Saturday to 6 am on Sunday.
According to the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence, 17 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
The aircraft also entered Taiwan’s northern and southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone.
The Armed Forces have monitored the situation and responded to the activities.
Taking to X, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence said, “We detected 21 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 17 of the aircraft crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern and southwestern ADIZ. We have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.”

Since September 2020, China has increased its use of gray zone tactics. This includes incrementally increasing the number of military aircraft and naval ships operating around Taiwan.
