PM Modi with gamers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi injected a touch of humour into his recent engagement with gamers by playfully using gaming slang. During a lively conversation with gamers, PM Modi couldn’t contain his laughter when the term “noob” was mentioned, a word typically used in gaming circles to describe someone inexperienced or not very skilled. Sharing a video snippet of the chat on his platform, the Prime Minister remarked that if he were to use such terminology during elections, it might lead to speculation about whom he was referring to.

While PM Modi refrained from naming anyone directly, his playful remark sparked a political back-and-forth. Congress leader Pramod Tiwari criticized the Prime Minister for his informal language, while BJP’s Shehzad Poonawalla cheekily turned the tables on the Congress, suggesting their reaction indicated who the true political novice was. Even Bollywood actress and BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut joined the conversation, indirectly poking fun at the opposition by asking, “Who is this Noob?”
The interaction between PM Modi and the gamers covered various aspects of the gaming industry, with participants including Tirth Mehta, Animesh Agarwal, Anshu Bisht, Naman Mathur, Mithilesh Patankar, Ganesh Gangadhar, and Payal Dhare. Encouraging them to communicate their concerns, PM Modi invited the gamers to send detailed emails outlining their issues directly to his office.
