Following concerns raised by his family, Kerala police have apprehended a man in connection with the demise of his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. The child was brought to a hospital in Wandoor by her father on Sunday, citing that she had choked on food.
Tragically, despite efforts, she couldn’t be revived. Subsequently, relatives voiced suspicions of foul play, alleging that the father had assaulted the child.

Authorities have initiated a case of unnatural death and have the father in custody as investigations progress. Pending the postmortem report, further actions will be determined.
Family members disclosed to the media that marital discord existed, with the child’s mother previously filing a complaint against him. The family also noted the presence of injury marks on the child’s body, urging for decisive measures to be taken.
