A week after a low-level Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast injured nine people, the Rameshwaram Cafe bravely reopened its doors to the public on Friday. As per the reports, despite the recent incident, owner Divya Raghavendra expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from well-wishers and emphasized the establishment’s resilience.
In a determined response to the blast, Raghavendra, emphasizing the paramount importance of customer safety and satisfaction, stated, “We are not scared of the bomb blast, but we will be more careful. Customer safety and satisfaction are paramount for us, and we will continue to serve our customers without fear.”
To enhance visitor safety, the cafe has implemented heightened security measures, including metal detector screenings. Regular patron Ganesh Hegde, commending the owners for their spirit, predicted increased loyalty from customers as a symbol of solidarity. Hegde remarked, “I am a usual visitor here and will continue to visit.”
Meanwhile, Sarthak Brahma, another patron, urged the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to swiftly apprehend the perpetrator. He emphasized the importance of holding the guilty accountable and expressed confidence in the competence of the NIA. Brahma welcomed the cafe’s reopening and pledged to bring friends to encourage the owner.
