Mr. Radheyshyam Rai, Group Managing Editor of Bharat Express News Networks felicitated Akhilesh Prasad Singh
Badhta Bihar Conclave organized by Bharat Express News Networks started off great in Patna. The prime motive of the conclave is to discuss different issues going on in Bihar along with the issue of development today. The event is to invite multiple prominent personalities of the state. The conclave will witness many eminent celebrities and politicians who have studied and known the state for a long.
The first personality to present views in the conclave was Akhilesh Prasad Singh, MP, Rajya Sabha who addressed the audience for about 30 minutes. He discussed the development of Bihar.
Bihar’s growth has slid downwards
While talking about the development of Bihar, Akhilesh Prasad Singh expressed that the state has gone down if we compare from the time of Independence to now. Further if we look back in time, when Nalanda University was located in Bihar and students, from all around the globe used to come here to study. He said, “In today’s time, if there’s a state from which the maximum amount of students are stepping out to study, then it is Bihar only.”

‘Bimaru state’ Bihar
In further discussion on the development of the state, the Congress MP said that even today, Bihar is known as ‘Bimaru state ’. He explained that it was not just because of the education system, reasons are pertaining to agriculture, business and most sectors in the state.
Caste politics in the state
The discussion with the Congress MP revealed that caste politics in Bihar has taken over the prime goal of development. In addition to this, the Congress leader praised his party and said that Indian National INC has never talked about caste, creed of the ballot casters.
The discussion then went on to talk about the party switching of different political leaders. Rajya Sabha MP said “This ‘Aya Ram Gya Ram’ is very usual during elections.” On a concluding note, Akhilesh Prasad Singh was honored by Mr. Radheyshyam Rai, Group Managing Editor.
