PM Modi visited Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday
On Sunday, while at Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth ₹ 7,550 crore for the state. Additionally, he paid nearly two lakh women who were beneficiaries of the state’s “Aahar Anudan Yojana” in monthly payments.
Women to receive Rs.1500 per month
Under the plan, women from particularly the backward tribes receive ₹ 1,500 per month for wholesome meals. As part of the SVAMITVA program, PM Modi also gave out 1.75 lakh “adhikar abhilekh,” or records of land rights, which will give citizens official proof of their ownership rights.

Tantya Mama Bhil University
Additionally, he lay the cornerstone for Tantya Mama Bhil University, which would educate young people from the state’s districts that are predominately tribal. The university, which will be built for ₹ 170 crore, would offer top-notch facilities for students’ overall growth.
