Union Home Minister Amit Shah Virtually Launches E-Bus Service In Jammu

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated an electric bus service in Jammu jobs through an online video meeting.

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah inaugurated an electric bus service in Jammu and handed out appointment letters for exams and jobs through an online video meeting from Delhi. In his speech, he highlighted the significance of the program, emphasizing the introduction of 100 fully air-conditioned e-buses for the people of Jammu. The project involves a cost of Rs 561 crore for the operation and maintenance of these buses for 12 years.

Shah praised the environmental initiatives in India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and mentioned the implementation of e-bus schemes across the country. He revealed that Jammu is now receiving 100 e-buses, contributing to reliable, comfortable, economical, and environmentally friendly public transport.

Furthermore, Shah announced the distribution of appointment letters to successful candidates of the Jammu & Kashmir Combined Examination-2024. He highlighted the transparent system under Modi’s regime, ensuring merit-based selections rather than political recommendations or corruption.

Amit Shah also mentioned the filling of vacancies after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, emphasizing the eradication of corruption in the appointment process. On National Voters Day, he encouraged youth above 18 to register and participate in the democratic process.

Shah discussed the positive changes in Jammu & Kashmir, including a decline in terrorism-related incidents, improved security, and economic growth. He praised the youth for embracing education and development instead of engaging in conflict. Shah concluded by expressing confidence in the continued development of Jammu & Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
