Ranbir Kapoor’s latest action drama, ‘Animal,’ is not only making waves in the Indian box office but has also achieved remarkable success worldwide since its debut on December 1. The film recently reached a significant milestone, crossing the ₹700 crore mark in global box office collections. In a recent update shared by the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film, the worldwide box office figures were unveiled with a caption that reads, ‘Rewriting Box-office Records,’ showcasing a poster of Ranbir Kapoor and revealing a staggering 11th-day gross of ₹737.98 crore.

As of now, ‘Animal’ stands as the third-highest-grossing Indian film globally in the current year. The star-studded cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles, has undoubtedly contributed to the film’s immense success. Despite its unstoppable run at the box office, ‘Animal’ has been a subject of debate due to its polarizing reception, with criticisms for allegedly promoting misogyny and toxic masculinity.

One review offered a glimpse into the film’s intensity, stating, ‘Violence reaches its zenith. Gore takes center stage. It’s a bloodbath all over. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-awaited ‘Animal’ has been unleashed, presenting Ranbir Kapoor in a devilish, menacing, and unhinged avatar. Do we love him? Yes, of course! Do we resent him, hell yes!

Animal’s problematic premise has already been discussed since its teaser and trailer were unveiled. What the full film offers is a series of events, emotions, and sequences leading up to a rather underwhelming climax, which is so rushed that you keep waiting if something more is yet to come post the end credits.
