Russia Ukraine Update
Russia Ukraine Update: Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, told an audience in Denmark on Monday that he was convinced Ukraine could stop Russia’s invasion because of promised shipments of US-made F-16 fighter fighters.
Zelenskyy: “We are confident that Russia will lose…”
The first six F-16s will be delivered to Ukraine around the New Year, as Denmark and the Netherlands stated on Sunday. Prior to Zelenskyy’s journey to Copenhagen, Washington had given the delivery of the jets its approval.
“Today we are confident that Russia will lose this war,” Zelenskyy told thousands of people who gathered outside the Danish parliament to hear his speech.
Russia issued warning
Russia had previously issued a warning that giving the jets to Ukraine would only cause the conflict, which has gone on for nearly 18 months, to worsen. Nearly 5% of Ukraine’s land is under the control of Russian forces, and Kyiv is making a valiant effort to drive them out.
“The fact that Denmark has now decided to donate 19 F-16 aircraft to Ukraine leads to an escalation of the conflict,” Russian ambassador Vladimir Barbin said in a statement.
“By hiding behind a premise that Ukraine itself must determine the conditions for peace, Denmark seeks with its actions and words to leave Ukraine with no other choice but to continue the military confrontation with Russia,” he said.

The F-16 fighter jets in Russia Ukraine war update
The plane would stop Russian fighter jets from assaulting advancing soldiers, according to the Ukrainian military, which claimed it was essential to the success of its counteroffensive, which has advanced slowly since its commencement in early June.
According to Ukrainian media, air force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said, “Superiority in the air is crucial to success on the ground.” According to Danish Minister of Defense Jakob Ellemann-Jensen, Ukraine may only use the given F-16s on its own soil.
There are conditions in Russia Ukraine update
“We donate weapons under the condition that they are used to drive the enemy out of the territory of Ukraine. And no further than that,” Ellemann-Jensen said on Monday.
“Those are the conditions, whether it’s tanks, fighter planes or something else,” he said. Total delivery of 19 jets from Denmark. The Netherlands currently has 42 F-16s available, but has not yet decided whether to donate all of them.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, referred to the choice as a “breakthrough agreement”. Oleksiy Reznikov, Ukraine’s defense minister, stated on Saturday that pilot training had started but that it would take at least six months, if not longer, to train engineers and mechanics as well.
