World Leaders Congratulate PM Modi On Historic Leadership Milestone

World leaders congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on reaching a historic milestone. They praised his governance, development vision and global leadership.

Leaders from different regions acknowledged his contribution to India’s transformation and his advocacy for the Global South. They also highlighted India’s growing influence on the world stage under his leadership.

Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Disanayaka extended warm greetings on behalf of his government and people.

The milestone reflects the strong trust people placed in Prime Minister Modi.

Citizens of the world’s largest democracy repeatedly backed his leadership.

Anura Kumara Disanayaka also praised India’s economic and social progress and said Prime Minister Modi’s vision has inspired nations beyond India, including Sri Lanka.

President Disanayaka recalled PM Modi’s April 2025 visit to Sri Lanka. He noted that Sri Lanka awarded him the prestigious Mitra Vibhushana honour.

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape described PM Modi as a role model and exemplary leader. He commended India’s success in lifting more than 200 million people out of poverty and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.

James Marape highlighted PM Modi’s historic 2023 visit to Papua New Guinea. He noted it was the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country.

Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar also congratulated PM Modi and noted that India has emerged as a leading voice on global issues under his leadership. She highlighted his journey from humble beginnings to leading a nation of 1.4 billion people across three terms.

PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar further praised India’s achievements in diplomacy, infrastructure, economic growth and social development, while recalling Prime Minister Modi’s landmark visit to Trinidad and Tobago in July 2025.

The messages collectively recognised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India’s development trajectory and the country’s growing global stature.
