Imran Khan, a former prime minister of Pakistan who was detained last week in connection with the Toshakahana case, has expressed his regret at being detained and said that he does not reside there.
Imran Khan reportedly pleaded, “Take me out of here; I don’t want to remain in jail,” while speaking with his attorneys in the Attock jail, according to the authorities.
According to the sources, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf further said that he is still confined to “distressing” conditions in his prison cell.
C-Class jail facilities
The PTI chairman was allowed to meet with Khan’s lawyer, Naeem Haider Panjotha, who claimed that the former premier was being held in “distressing” conditions with “C-Class jail facilities” after being given access to the prison on Monday.
According to Panjotha, the PTI leader maintained his composure in the face of all of these setbacks and pledged to spend the rest of his life in prison rather than submit to servitude.
The sources claimed, however, that the PTI chairman expressed his worries about the prison’s environment—flies occupying his cell during the day and insects at night—during the discussion with his counsel.

Imran Khan, a former prime minister of Pakistan, was sentenced to three years in prison on Saturday in the Toshakhana case for illegally selling state gifts. He was also permanently barred from politics for a period of five years.
The court also fined the PTI leader $100,000.
Shortly after Khan was found guilty in the Toshakhana case, he was taken into custody at his Zaman Park home in Lahore.
The trial court determined that the charges against the former prime minister in the case were proven during the hearing, which was presided over by Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) Humayun Dilawar, according to the sources.

Submitted fake deets of Toshakhana gifts
He declared Imran Khan to be guilty of corrupt acts and sentenced him to three years in prison under Section 174 of the Election Act, saying that he “deliberately submitted fake details [of Toshakhana gifts] to the ECP and is found guilty of corrupt practices.”
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday overturned the session court’s decision that the Toshakhana referral against the PTI Chairman was maintainable and ordered the lower court to rehear the matter. This is the latest update.
