Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, is said to have soiled himself after tumbling down stairs at his official residence. A Telegram channel was the first to block the news.
Notably, rumours regarding the 70-year-old Russian premier’s failing health have been often making headlines for a while. Putin fell on Wednesday after falling down the stairs at his Moscow house, according to information uncovered by the Media channel.
Putin suffers from cancer of gastrointestinal tract
According to the channel, ‘Putin landed on his coccyx, fell down five steps, and then rolled onto his side and slid down two more. The sharp impact caused him to involuntarily defecate due to cancer of the gastrointestinal tract’.
Putin already experiences problems with digestion as a result of him suffering oncology of the gastrointestinal tract, the media noted.
Vladimir Putin’s ‘purple’ hands trigger health rumours
The incident took place in front of the President’s bodyguards, who reacted quickly and rushed to Putin’s aid. Three security officers helped the President get to the nearest sofa and called the doctors who were on duty at the residence.
Before the examination, the doctors escorted the president to the bathroom and helped to clean up, and at the same time conducted an initial examination. After a complete examination, a bruise of the coccyx and soft tissues was diagnosed.
Putin wears shoes with anti-slip coating at home
The President’s health was reported to be stable later that evening. The Telegram channel further noted that Putin ‘wears special shoes, even at home, with anti-slip coating, and the stairs in the residence are considered safe’.
Putin’s alleged health issues have been the subject of rumours ever since the crisis with Ukraine started in February. The former KGB strongman has frequently displayed signs of frailty and shakiness in public.
Putin was seen speaking to soldiers at a boot camp in the Ryazan area in late October, and Kyiv Post journalist Jason Jay Smart tweeted images of the speech. This sparked rumours that the president had IV tracks.
According to the statement published by the channel, “Putin’s oncology is developing, and despite recent adequate medication, the pain is not always completely alleviated.”
The president’s declining physical and mental health must be understood because it affects how important decisions are made. Putin wants to put a stop to history rather than change it.
