Nigeria has decided to honor Prime Minister Narendra Modi with its prestigious award, The Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON). This makes him the second foreign dignitary to receive the award, after Queen Elizabeth in 1969. This is the 17th international award conferred on PM Modi by a foreign country.
During his visit to Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, PM Modi received a unique welcome. Officials presented him with the Key to the City, symbolizing trust and respect.
