Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the European Round Table for Industry in Gothenburg during his visit to Sweden and highlighted growing India-Europe cooperation under the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement.
Sharing details on social media, PM Modi said the discussions focused on India’s reform-driven economic growth and expanding cooperation with Europe in technology, clean energy, infrastructure, healthcare and mobility.

The Prime Minister also met Swedish business leaders alongside Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Crown Princess Victoria.
The leaders discussed strengthening India-Sweden economic ties in artificial intelligence, research, healthcare, futuristic technologies and security cooperation.
PM Modi described India as one of the world’s most attractive destinations for investment, innovation and manufacturing. He invited European companies to increase investments in India’s fast-growing economy and participate in sectors such as AI, semiconductors, telecom, electronics, green energy, transport, healthcare and deep-tech manufacturing.
The Prime Minister said India and Europe shared strong strategic convergence in an uncertain global environment. He welcomed the momentum in India-EU relations and described the India-EU Free Trade Agreement as a transformative partnership that would strengthen trade, technology, manufacturing and resilient supply chains.
PM Narendra Modi highlighted the importance of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor and India’s progress in infrastructure, manufacturing and digital development.
Reiterating the vision of ‘Design for India, Make in India, and Export from India’, PM Modi urged European companies to expand investments in India.
PM Modi also called for stronger cooperation in resilient supply chains, renewable energy, logistics and skill development, while proposing an annual India-Europe CEOs Roundtable.
