On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared photographs and videos from the reception organised by the Indian community during his ongoing visit to the Netherlands.
In posts shared on X, the Prime Minister described the welcome as ‘remarkable’ and highlighted the cultural performances presented by members of the diaspora.
According to PM Modi, the programme featured several Indian classical dance forms, including Kathak, Odissi, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam, along with a Garba performance.

PM Modi is currently on an official visit to the European nation as part of his wider diplomatic tour aimed at strengthening India’s strategic, economic and technological engagement across Europe.
During the visit, PM Modi is likely to hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten. He will also meet Their Majesties Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima.
Apart from official meetings, the Prime Minister is expected to interact with business leaders and address members of the Indian diaspora. He will remain in the Netherlands until May 17. This is his second visit to the country after his earlier trip in 2017.
Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs said the visit would help deepen cooperation between India and the Netherlands across sectors such as trade, defence, semiconductors, renewable energy, innovation and maritime affairs.

Officials have also emphasised the strong people-to-people relationship between the two countries.
The Netherlands is home to more than 90,000 Non-Resident Indians and Persons of Indian Origin, over 2,00,000 members of the Suriname Hindustani community and nearly 3,500 Indian students.
