A mass shooting occurred at Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York, on January 1. At least 11 people were injured when gunfire erupted near the venue at 11:20 pm.

Law enforcement emphasized their priority is identifying the subject involved and determining whether the explosion was an act of terrorism.
