
An all-party Indian parliamentary delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, reinforced India’s unwavering commitment to combating terrorism during its official visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
As part of Operation Sindoor outreach, the delegation met with Dr Mushabab Al-Qahtani, Director General of the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute of Diplomatic Studies, where they emphasised India’s stand against terrorism in all its forms.
The Embassy of India in Riyadh shared the development on social media, stating: “The All-Party delegation led by @PandaJay met H.E. Delegation Arrives In Riyadh; Meets Indian Ambassador
The delegation arrived in Riyadh on Wednesday and met Suhel Khan, India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, at India House. They discussed India’s strategic interests and reaffirmed India’s commitment to global peace and security.
During the visit, the members also paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at the Indian Embassy, honouring his ideals of peace and non-violence.
Sharing a post on X (formerly Twitter), Panda said, “Along with my colleagues from the all-party delegation, offered floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, honouring his timeless message of peace, non-violence & tolerance. We also had a detailed interaction with Ambassador Dr. Suhel Khan, reaffirming India’s resolute stand against terrorism & commitment to global peace.”

The Indian delegation is scheduled to engage with a wide range of stakeholders during their three-day stay, including political dignitaries, government officials, thought leaders, business and media representatives, and members of the Indian diaspora.
These interactions are aimed at strengthening India-Saudi Arabia bilateral ties and building consensus on global peace efforts.
Delegation Includes Prominent Leaders From Multiple Parties
The delegation includes BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Satnam Singh Sandhu; AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi; Ghulam Nabi Azad; and former Indian diplomat Harsh Vardhan Shringla.
Their collective presence underlines a unified Indian political approach to global issues, particularly terrorism.
Strengthening Ties Beyond Saudi Arabia
Prior to their visit to Saudi Arabia, the delegation concluded successful engagements in Kuwait and Bahrain.
In Kuwait, they conducted media interactions and cultural visits to highlight India’s firm stance on terrorism.
The Indian Embassy in Kuwait noted that the delegation conveyed India’s ‘Zero Tolerance’ and ‘New Normal’ messaging on terrorism to various government, civil society, media, and Indian community representatives.
