North Korea To Build Overwhelming Military Power

On Wednesday, Kim Yo Jong, the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, said the country will continue to build overwhelming military power to safeguard its sovereignty and regional peace.

Kim went on to say, “A series of military exercises by the U.S. military in the region this year starting with live-fire drills conducted with the South Korean puppet military gangsters are driving the regional security environment into a dangerous turmoil”.

“We will continue to build overwhelming and the most powerful military power to safeguard our sovereignty, security, and regional peace”, Kim continued.

In recent months, the US and South Korean forces have undertaken a series of large-scale and intense drills as part of their leaders’s vow to improve military readiness against North Korea’s military threats.

According to the South Korean military, over 100 military aircraft participated in two-week-long aerial drills this month.

North Korea claims US military exercises are preparations for a nuclear war with it.

Washington and Seoul claim the drills are defensive in nature and are carried out regularly to maintain readiness.
