Mikhail Raduga is a Russian man who actually went on to a level that one would only imagine in a Hollywood movie. This man attempted skull drill and had a near-death experience on his attempt to control his dreams. He wished to install a microchip in his brain that could control the dreams that the man we having.

Raduga, who is from the Russian city of Novosibirsk, posted pictures of his daring mission on Twitter. He asserted that he was motivated to act independently by YouTube videos displaying the efforts of neurosurgeons. Raguda stated, “I bought a drill, drilled a hole in my head, and implanted an electrode in my brain.”

Despite having to deal with a potentially fatal circumstance due to severe blood loss during the procedure, Raduga expressed excitement about the potential implications of his work for future dream control technologies.

On July 18, he revealed the specifics of his self-conducted treatment, revealing that on May 17, 2023, he had his motor cortex trepanated, electrodes implanted, and electrically stimulated to determine whether brain stimulation could induce lucid dreams.

He tweeted the procedure’s gory images in addition to his message. “For the first time in history, we conducted direct electrical stimulation of the motor cortex of the brain during REM sleep, lucid dreams, and sleep paralysis. The results open up fantastic prospects for future dream control technologies,” the tweet reads.

Raduga was brought to the hospital to receive medical attention for his injuries after the dangerous endeavor. His face was covered with bandages in the photos he provided, and an X-ray revealed an electrode inside his head. This incident would send chills down the spine of any person.
