The continuous Israeli attack killed 42 more Palestinians in Gaza. At least 42 Palestinian were killed and 150 injured as Israel attacked Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. Notably it was an air and artillery bombardment.

The strikes, which began Friday morning, targeted residential areas, according to local security sources.

In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that its operations in Rafah and central Gaza aimed to eliminate militants, dismantle infrastructure, and locate weapons. The escalation follows a large-scale offensive launched by Israel against Hamas after an October 7 attack by Hamas across the southern border, which left around 1,200 people dead and nearly 250 held hostage.

According to Gaza-based health authorities, the Palestinian death toll from Israeli strikes has now reached 43,314.
