All Eyes On Prayagraj; Grand Procession To Mark The Start Of Kumbh Mahaparv

The holy city of Prayagraj will likely host the grand entry and consecration ceremony for the revered Kumbh Mahaparv on Sunday, marking the official beginning of the sacred gathering.

This event will draw thousands of saints, religious leaders, and devotees from both India and across the globe, with festivities continuing through February.

This year’s Kumbh Mahaparv is to bring together millions of pilgrims and spiritual leaders to honor centuries-old traditions in one of Hinduism’s holiest cities.

According to Shri Narayan Giri Maharaj, International Spokesperson for Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhada and President of the Hindu United Front, the gathering is likely to showcase a vibrant display of religious unity, attracting spiritual seekers from diverse backgrounds.

The entry procession will start at Ramapur and journey towards Shri Maujgiri at the Shri Panch Dashnam Akhada, officially consecrating the grounds for the pilgrimage.

Shri Mahant Hari Giri Maharaj, Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, will lead this monumental procession alongside esteemed saints and members from various Akhadas, including Ramat Panch and Shri Panch.

The event will however see prominent spiritual figures, including Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand Saraswati of Sumeru Peeth in Gujarat and Mahant Ravindrapuri Maharaj of Shri Panchayati Niranjani Akhada, who are likely to join this procession to impart blessings upon the grounds and all those in attendance.
