Engagements With Moroccan Military Leadership
Throughout the visit, the Indian delegation will engage with senior military and administrative officials in Morocco to discuss defence frameworks, exchange best practices, and identify potential areas for future collaboration.
The visit is expected to pave the way for enhanced joint training, intelligence sharing, and defence technology cooperation, further cementing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Simultaneously, an eight-member delegation from India’s National Cadet Corps (NCC) has arrived in Moscow to participate in the Cadet Youth Festival held in Kazan, Russia, from June 1 to 8.
The festival fosters global camaraderie among cadets through cultural exchange and mutual learning.
The NCC delegation includes six Indian cadets who will represent the country at a series of interactive events designed to promote friendship and understanding between youth from diverse nations.

Indian NCC cadets have a longstanding history of participating in international youth exchange programmes with Russia, including visits to Moscow, Smolensk, Belgorod, and St Petersburg.
These programmes, conducted under the Youth Exchange Programme (YEP), allow cadets to engage in a blend of military training and cultural activities.
Past visits have featured participation in events such as ballet performances and joint exercises with Russian cadets, providing valuable exposure and strengthening bilateral goodwill at the youth level.
India’s current diplomatic initiatives, encompassing both high-level defence engagement in Morocco and youth exchanges in Russia, demonstrate a multifaceted approach to international relations.
These efforts broaden strategic partnerships, foster mutual understanding, and enhance global defence cooperation, thereby contributing to regional and global stability.
