
A high-level Indian all-party parliamentary delegation, led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, met key Russian leaders in Moscow as part of India’s global diplomatic initiative, Operation Sindoor.
The delegation focused on strengthening international cooperation against terrorism, particularly Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism.
Indian-All Party Delegation Meet With Former PM Of Russia
The delegation held a constructive meeting with Mikhail Fradkov, former Prime Minister of Russia and Director of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS).
The discussions centred on the evolving global security landscape and the need for collaborative efforts to combat terrorism.

Talks At Federation Council Of Russia
The delegation also met with Andrey Denisov, First Deputy Chair of the Committee on International Affairs at the Federation Council of Russia, along with fellow Russian Senators.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to global peace and India’s firm stance against terrorism.
AAP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal, a member of the delegation, highlighted the meeting’s significance in a post on X, noting, “Joined Hon’ble MPs @KanimozhiDMK, @RajeevRai, @CaptBrijesh, @guptapc50, and Ambassador @ambmanjeevpuri for a significant dialogue at the Federation Council of Russia with Mr. Andrey Denisov, First Deputy Chair of the Committee on International Affairs, and fellow Senators. India reiterated its unwavering stand against terrorism and its deep commitment to global peace.”

Parliamentary And Diplomatic Engagements Continue
The delegation’s engagements extended to meetings with both Houses of the Russian Parliament and key think tanks.
According to the Embassy of India in Moscow, the team met Leonid Slutsky, Chair of the Committee on International Affairs of the State Duma, and interacted with Russian lawmakers.
The delegation stressed the need for global mechanisms to block terror financing, safe havens, and political cover.
Strategic Dialogue With Foreign Ministry Of Russia
In a significant diplomatic engagement, the delegation met Andrey Rudenko, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.
Discussions focused on bilateral, regional, and global developments, with both nations underscoring their commitment to a multipolar international order.
The Indian side reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and firmly rejected any form of nuclear blackmail.
