Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday showcased India’s growing strengths as a global hub for investment, innovation and technology, urging investors and venture capital leaders to partner with the country in shaping the future of global development.
Addressing investors and venture capital executives at Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, France, PM Modi said India offers significant opportunities across innovation, technology, manufacturing and emerging industries.
The Prime Minister noted that India has emerged as one of the world’s most attractive destinations for investment and innovation, supported by a strong foundation of talent, scale, stability and policy reforms.

During his address at Bharat Innovates 2026, PM Modi said disruption and development are shaping the current decade and creating new opportunities despite global challenges.
“The world is witnessing unprecedented challenges due to conflicts and the growing impact of climate change, but these challenges are also creating significant opportunities for innovation and progress,” he noted.
The Prime Minister invited global stakeholders to collaborate with India in developing next-generation solutions and driving technological advancement.
PM Modi identified artificial intelligence, quantum computing, biotechnology, space technologies and advanced materials as transformative fields that will define humanity’s future.
Describing these sectors as the next chapter of human civilisation, the Prime Minister said every technological revolution creates both opportunities and responsibilities.
“The world today is looking for technologies that are trusted, inclusive, human-centric and focused on global good,” the Prime Minister noted.
PM Modi added that the principle of ‘technology for humanity’ and human-centric innovation guides India’s approach. He said these principles form the foundation of the country’s digital revolution and digital public infrastructure.
