Hey Sky, Take Off Your Hat! It’s Tom Cruise Here For Space Walk

A Never Tiring Self Stunting Actor's Yet Another Space High Stunt

The Stars Don’t Look Bigger, But They Do Look Brighter up In The Space – Sally Ride

Just when you thought Tom Cruise achieved his greatest possible cinematic triumph with the success of the Top Gun sequel, the blockbuster star comes up with an idea that is, quite literally, out of this world.

The Bourne Identity director Doug Liman and the 60-year-old Hollywood veteran are working on a concept for a movie that will reportedly be shot in space.

Tom is renowned for pulling off high-octane stunts in his projects, is taking things to the next level and may soon become the first actor to shoot in space.

The Top Gun actor has reportedly partnered with director Doug Liman on a project that calls for him to perform a spacewalk.

The Hollywood actor and director have reportedly approached the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG) with a proposal for Tom to launch himself up to the International Space Station.

The project was initially slated for 2020, but the Covid-19 outbreak put the project on hold. The movie is currently in the conceptual stage and hasn’t started shooting yet.

Tom Cruise would be the first movie celebrity to film on the International Space Station if the film is successful, as was previously announced.

Tom Cruise might be the first civilian to walk on space.

Although the move is unheard of, it’s fair to say that it’s not strange that Cruise is aiming for space, given that the Jerry Maguire star is known for his daring stunt work.

Cruise will play the role of a down-on-his-luck guy who will encounter an unusual situation where only he could save Earth.

Liman was asked about reports that the movie will cost around $200 million but she insisted they are yet to work out the final budget. Presumably, a flight to space for Cruise and a film crew will cost a packet.

Director Liman and Cruise have earlier collaborated on films such as “Edge of Tomorrow” (2014) and “American Made” (2017).
