
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his 75th birthday on 17 September by inaugurating a mega textile park in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.
The government expects the park to boost regional employment and promote indigenous manufacturing under the Make in India initiative.
Born in Mehsana, Gujarat, PM Modi remains India’s longest-serving non-Congress Prime Minister and the first non-Congress leader to complete two full terms.
Despite over a decade in office, his popularity remains strong. In July, he topped the Democratic Leader Approval Ratings globally, securing 75 per cent approval.
Worldwide Praise for PM Modi
On the global stage, several world leaders have praised PM Modi’s leadership and economic vision.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the 15th VTB Russia Calling Investment Forum, highlighted PM Modi’s commitment to India-first policies and a stable investment environment.
“Investing in India is profitable,” Putin affirmed.
Donald Trump, the US President, has consistently referred to PM Modi as his friend.
“He’s a great Prime Minister,” Trump stated, noting that he looked forward to continued cooperation between the two countries.
During a joint address to the Indian diaspora in Sydney, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called PM Modi ‘the boss’, comparing the reception he received to that of music icon Bruce Springsteen.
At the G7 Summit in Canada, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni greeted PM Modi warmly, stating, “You are the best. I am trying to be as you.” PM Modi responded to her post on social media, saying, “India’s friendship with Italy will continue to get stronger.”
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh lauded PM Modi for transforming India into a global power.
“Under his leadership, India has become the 5th largest economy,” he said during a visit to India.
World Bank President Ajay Banga also commended PM Modi for prioritising strong bilateral ties, especially with the United States and through the Quad alliance, noting his long-term strategic vision.
From the business world, Toshihiro Suzuki, President of Suzuki Motors, praised PM Modi’s support for manufacturing.
“Under his strong leadership, the Indian automobile market has become the third-largest globally,” Suzuki said.

As PM Modi turns 75, the focus on economic development, global diplomacy, and domestic progress remains at the core of his leadership.
PM Modi will mark his milestone birthday by launching another major development project — the inauguration of a textile park in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.
The project is expected to significantly boost employment and improve infrastructure in the region, reflecting his action-oriented style of governance.
