Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday concluded a series of meetings and discussions at the G7 Summit in Evian, where he outlined India’s approach to governance, policy formulation, and international collaboration. He also underlined the need for greater engagement with countries of the Global South to ensure balanced global growth.

The Prime Minister stated that the summit served as a valuable forum for presenting India’s achievements in governance and development. He drew attention to the increasing influence of emerging economies in shaping future global frameworks and said India’s contributions received positive feedback from participating leaders.

After wrapping up his commitments in Evian, PM Modi left for Paris to continue his official visit to France.

During his stay in the French capital, the Prime Minister is scheduled to speak at VivaTech 2026, a major European event dedicated to technology and innovation. He will also attend a gathering of the Indian diaspora, acknowledging the community’s role in strengthening links between India and France.

India has continued to champion the interests of developing nations by advocating equitable economic opportunities, fairer trade systems, and broader access to technological advancements.

The Prime Minister’s participation in the G7 discussions reflected this ongoing diplomatic strategy and reinforced India’s presence in global policy conversations.

PM Modi will use the Paris leg of his visit to strengthen cooperation between India and France in innovation, technology, and cultural exchanges.

India and France maintain a longstanding strategic partnership that spans defence, space, civil nuclear energy, and education.

At VivaTech 2026, PM Modi will showcase India’s rapidly expanding digital economy and innovation ecosystem while further enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries.
