The Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) observes PM Modi’s Brazil visit as a strengthening move for the relations of India and Brazil. This can empower trade and commerce between the nations.
The organisation highlighted that this meeting can provide ample opportunities for trade, agriculture, oil, gas, etc.
SC Ralhan, the president of FIEO, claimed that this visit will turn out beneficial for both countries. This will tie a knot of strength, and build trade, providing a widespread range of bilateral trade and investments.
He called the decision to establish an India-Brazil Ministerial-Level Mechanism on Trade, Commerce and Investment Cooperation a witty and systematic.
The president also said that this will accelerate initiatives and fasten the resolve of issues related to trade. This can make business-to-business connectivity faster and also make trade policies between the countries better.
“FIEO sees this development as a timely and necessary step towards enhancing transparency, coordination, and predictability in trade relations, and addressing the challenges faced by Indian exporters and investors in the Latin American region,” he noted.

Pushing two-way investments, clean energy, fintech, food processing, etc, can raise enhancements of bilateral trade.
A common perception of sustainable and inclusive development is shared by both countries, India and Brazil. Both countries have their impact on BRICS. FIEO promotes the idea of eliminating non-tariff barriers with the help and collaboration of both nations. Therefore, to ensure suitable and smooth trades.
The organisation emphasised that a long-term partnership vision from Brazil should be seen, and all the opportunities are a must to take advantage of. This collaboration between the countries can open portals for the countries for the sake of expansion in their markets.
“FIEO stands ready to work closely with both governments and relevant trade bodies to ensure the successful implementation of this visit’s outcomes, and to support Indian exporters in navigating and growing their footprint in the Brazilian market,” the statement added.
