Videos capturing the dramatic scenes flooded social media platforms, with one particularly striking time-lapse video going viral, depicting the massive storm in action.

The clip, reminiscent of scenes from a science fiction film, was shared by a user on a microblogging site, garnering widespread attention. Comments from viewers ranged from awe at the power of nature to reflections on the beauty and intensity of the storm.

Residents shared their experiences, with one noting the rarity of such a downpour compared to their time in Mumbai and Fujairah. Another user pointed out the challenges posed by inadequate drainage systems, suggesting that better water harvesting methods could mitigate the impact of future events.
